I'm using the Annotate Arc command to label some arc distances, which works fine, but when I use the edit arc text command to add record distances to the label it becomes all jumbled up. Does anyone know of a work around to add information to arc labels that won't distort the label spacing?

I also like to add record data in parenthesis next to the data in my line and arc tables, but I can't find a way to edit the table data, anyone know how to do this?

My earlier edition of Carlson seems to work fine when editing arc labels,so it must be a newer glich. If I need to edit an arc label I'd use the "slabarc" command or stack lable arc.

I'd explode the table (an anonymous block) and add your edits.

Alternatively:

If you have a newer CAD version I understand you can use the rename command to rename the anonymous block (the table) from something like *U10 to temp10, or, if you can run lisp routines, search for and download and run unanon.lsp, then rename the anonymous block, then use the bedit command to modify the block. It still retains the Carlson table links that way. Make sure your table is complete before you make your edits, because if you add another curve it will revert to it's original configuration, using the current table settings.

good luck . .
