I recv'd subscription notice last week I can login and download the latest upgrade to 2012.
Anyone "upgraded" yet? Comments?

I have it installed. I've noticed improvements in several areas. Haven't had a chance to use it enough yet to give a real assessment, though.

Any real changes you can see in function or improved wizards?

So far, the only thing I've really noticed is that it seems faster and more-responsive. I really like that.

In my mind, the biggest new improvement actually comes from the core Autocad product: the ability to set STARTUP=2 to have C3D open to an empty environment, instead of creating an empty "Drawing1" or going to the dysfunctional STARTUP tab.

I know, if that's the most exciting new feature, then that's kind of sad... But like I said, I haven't had a chance to really explore it much yet.

It seems like most of the new improvements were to areas that I'm not really interested in, as a Surveyor. And I also have the Sincpac-C3D, so the Style improvements aren't that interesting to me - I basically had much of that already. But there's some stuff in there that I think will excite some Engineers, even if I haven't yet seen much that excites me, outside of the better performance.

Here's a link to Autodesk's synopsis of the new features:

(Now that's a friendly URL, eh?)
