I am looking for a way to export a PDF from Terramodel. My crews uses DXF maps when in the field but sometimes we get a request from a contractor to have a point sheet print out. Instead of printing one out the scanning then emailing I am wondering if there is a way to export a PDF directly from my file. I have been told in the past there is a way to make it happen but no one has ever been able to show me.

?ÿ

Thanks

For things like that, I use PDF Redirect V2. I actually use it more that I use a printer. Someone here recommended it several years ago. It installs like a printer driver.

Any version of Adobe Acrobat (not Reader) that will run on your computer should do it. You just have to set it up as a printer in Terramodel.

For the Brother printer users, it comes with a software package that includes PaperPort that installs itself into the printer list and creates PDF files that can be read with its PDF viewer and PDF Fusion for creating and editing pdf files.

That worked! Need to tweak it a little but this will work great. Thank you so much! I have already shared this info with some fellow surveyors as well.

I have been using Terramodel since the CogoA+ days; about a zillion years ago.  I recall the +3 folks suggested Win2PDF, found here:

https://www.win2pdf.com/

It is set up like a printer, works great.  You can create custom sheet sizes.  Free to try, minimal cost to purchase once you burn through the trial.  I am sure there are lots of other options, but I am using this one.

Does anyone have Terramodel locks for sale? Do you have any Foresight or Foresight DXM locks you'd be willing to part with? Thanks.
