Getting backed over by a semi... ridiculous.
A guy who used to work for the same company I did got his leg run over by construction equipment. He lived, but rather crippled now.

Very sad accident.
40 km road job, 5 casualties since 2006.
The man was finishing his shift at 12:00, fatal accident happened at 11:00. This was to be his last contract before retirement. Very difficult time for his wife.
