Was wondering what everyone was using for UAV insurance, and how much it is costing?

I have a few companies that I've found that offer UAV insurance. Hill and Usher, and Transport Risk Management was another. Are there other companies out there that are better to go with? I haven't got any quotes back yet so I'm not sure how much this type of policy is going to run.

That's not my business area, but I'm pretty sure we were able to use the same provider that we use for everything else.

Our current provider is able to insure us, but they aren't that knowledgeable about UAV's for commercial use. I kind of wanted to check into companies that specialize in this area.

I've even heard of some just adding it to there homeowners policy, but that's in a non-commercial/hobbyist type of use.

Have you looked at https://verifly.com/ ? Pay by the hour. For my area it starts at $15 for 1 hour, 1/4 mile radius, $1,000,000 coverage. You can increase to 1/2 mile radius and $2,500,000 coverage.

I'm using http://www.transportrisk.com/uavrcfilm.html&apos ;">Transport Risk Management for my DJI Phantom 4 Pro. I have heard that they are the largest drone insurance broker in the US. I am currently paying $800 per year for a $1 million liability only coverage policy (no hull coverage, that cost an extra $200). It seems expensive for what it is, but I'm hoping that as time goes on the prices will go down on drone coverage once the risk is better known. For example, I have a friend that told me that the insurance on his Cesna 172 Skyhawk was nearly half what I was paying and that included hull and liability coverage.
