We have preliminary dFIRMs and I am slightly confused what the term to designate a 0.2% hazard is now. Is it supposed to be B still?
Why yes, I have submitted a comment to my local flood plain manager so he can alert FEMA that their legend is broken.

I don't think it's broken, just confusing. Our paper FIRMS have been that way since the 2007 update. The area between the .1% and the .2% is shaded but labeled Zone X. I just list it as Zone X (shaded).

thanks, i did find some information on this new and confusing designation
i am not sure why they would eliminate B and C but not change the legend to reflect it.
