Anyone know a place to get current aerial imagery for Nebraska??ÿ ?ÿThe most current I can find is 2014 on the DNR link below. Preferably state plane.
Chris,
Not exactly what you are looking for, but you can get 2016 NAIP imagery (color, 1 meter) for Nebraska at this link.
https://nrcs.app.box.com/v/naip
The NAIP imagery is organized into zip files by county.?ÿ You will need to click on the PDF file at the bottom of the above page to get the 3-digit code for the county you want (filename is "NAIP File Name.pdf").
Then you can click on "2016" and "NE" to get to the 93 county files for Nebraska.
For example, if?ÿ you want Lancaster county, the county code is "109" and you would need to download the file "ortho_1-1_hn_s_ne109_2016_1.zip"
The zip file contains 12 files and the imagery is compressed in the MrSID format.?ÿ For Lancaster County, the projection is UTM, Zone 14 North, meters so you would need to transform to get into the proper SPC zone.
I'm surprised that they haven't updated to 2016 yet.
Google Earth Pro has tons of aerial photography. Getting it on a georeferenced format that your current software?ÿ can read is another challenge. If you're using Carlson or Civil 3D it's pretty easy to do.
If you just want to clip a unreferenced photo that's super easy any you can georeferenced that image manually.
Mr. SID has introduced a new format that older CAD software can't use and you have convert it using Lizardtech's Geoexplorer.
Alot of guys had me chasing my tail on this Board when I first tried to read Google Earth imagery into my CAD program.
Google Earth is great because it has old imagery back to the 1940's and some imagery as new as last month and it's all in one place. The imagery is alot better quality than what I use to get off the State photography site.

?ÿThere should be 2017 photography of Nebraska available today.
Good Luck.
