I have waited for this #1 bucket list item since I was a little girl!!! But, as many of you have known, I was pretty poor and so my trips to see the Cardinals were only when they'd come to Los Angeles, and only if I got free or cheap tickets. I was also a very poor adult when they went to the World Series in 2011.
I'm not poor now, but definitely not rich either, but...I do have a small "World Series Fund" this year if they go!! Wendell is going, too! Kicking and screaming!!! Hahahaha!! ????ÿ

A neighbor, friend and fellow school board member was in attendance at that game as part of a work-related meeting.?ÿ I knew she had the work-related meeting, so was covering for her at a meeting of our special education board of directors.?ÿ It was so boring, I started reading Facebook on the desktop while watching the meeting on my laptop.?ÿ Up pops a photo of her with a drink in her hand coming up the stadium steps.?ÿ AHA!?ÿ She could have been attending via Zoom, as I was, BUT NOOOO.
