I just read an article about a couple teens who hacked an ATM by actually using their brains. Interesting read.
Anyway, at the end of the article was the sentence "Despite their vulnerabilities, ATM's are the salvation of diehard Windows XP users who, it seems, can re-enable updates for the operating system by telling their PCs that they are ATMs."
I might have to look into that since I have a couple XP boxes at home (not that I use them, but out of curiosity)
Many banks, and atm's and other govt devices are XP.
I am staying XP til the deep dark end.

I installed Win 7 Pro a couple years ago, and have been well-pleased with the OS. You can set up a virtual machine running XP, and run old legacy programs in "XP Mode" without leaving the Win 7 environment. Also, I've fine-tuned some things with simple hacks from the book, "Windows 7 Annoyances".
