All the vehicles that run were under cover except the back half of my camper shell. We were squeezing two into one spot. It got beat up pretty bad.
5 busted windshields on vehicles that don't run. (yea, this is east texas)
That was a "hood thumper" for sure.
We had some "good sized" hail Friday night, golf-ball and a few bigger ones.?ÿ My vehicles aren't covered, but stay tucked in between the house and a garage (that hasn't had a car in it in twenty years).?ÿ Hail rarely comes straight down around here; it's always sideways!
Saturday afternoon here in town the windshield shop's parking lot was poked plum full.?ÿ I have visited there many times over the years.?ÿ Windshields get replaced around here more often that wiper blades. 😉
Biggest hail I've seen, in the Pacific Northwest, is pea size...
I remember car dealers having hail storm sales, in Eastern Nebraska, couple times a year.
Last night we had a work-night at the fire station. The part of the station that was built in 1971 has blown in insulation. The hail hit so hard that it knocked most of the insulation loose from the inside.
That's too bad about your trucks. Off subject of trucks have a reputable roofing contractor inspect your roof. Your homeowners insurance policy may very well cover the cost 100%.?ÿ
We are waiting on an adjuster from the insurance company now but it is prorated based on age and the roof is pretty old.
