Try

peopleofwalmart.com

When a fashion statement, is made by showing off untied shoes, and pants hanging baggy, and half off, well, I don't know. The fashion train, is headed the wrong way!

What and how the kids wear clothing is a direct indicator of the parents value system, always has been and always will. Parents used to maintain respect even when they could not afford to keep their kids in new clothing as long as what they wore was clean, a reasonable fit and kept patched. In my mind that still holds and it is natural for me to avoid the parents of kids I see that don't care enough about their kids to keep them presentable. It is lasting child abuse to not teach them and enforce the things their kids need to fit into society, much more damaging to the kids future than any amount of disciplined spankings could ever cause.

It has always been fashionable among kids to have styles that are against their parents' norms. Long hair in the 60's, tattoos later, saggy pants, you name it.

Interestingly enough, and I can't remember if I said it here or on FB, there are several cities in Texas that have "sagging ordinances" that ticket people for sagging their pants.

The cops are pushing for one here in our town. I actually know a cop who arrested and made a case against one because it was so bad, people were "offended" and the guy was a POS anyway.

Whether or not children wear clothes is up to the parents;
If the parents choose to clothe their children, it is up to them to choose the clothing;
If the clothing does not fit it is up to the parents to make it fit;
If the parents cannot make it fit it is up to the child to tell the parents to eat cheese.
