To all my veteran friends on this site I say Thank You and God bless..
If you know one tell them the same...
If you don't know one find one and shake his/her hand...
I don't remember any politician mentioning anything about our veterans during the elections. So it is up to us.
I LOVE THIS COUNTRY. GOOD OR BAD
I WILL ALWAYS FLY MY FLAG WITH HONOR.

Just finished my 25-foot flag pole. I'm flying the colors on top with the Corps of Engineers red castle flag underneath. One son-in-law dug the hole for me, but I didn't have a post hole digger, so he had to step inside to get far enough down for the instructions. Hole had to be wider than specified so that he could fit in. Turned out I had to fill the hole with 1200 pounds of Quick Mix!

Flag pole is going to be there a very long time.

The ball on top has the match, the key, and the bullet inside of it.

:good:

My grandpa Joe served in WW2. His head got skinned by a bullet. He said that was one of the most scariest times of his life!! He earned a Purple Heart Medal. He is buried in the veterans part of Forest Lawn. He gets a flag on his grave. He was my hero and always will be. :hi5:
