I would have fainted and fell out of the tree at first sight of the bear.

wow...I was breathing heavy just watching this
I showed that to my kids. They were in suspense! Big Help says that it would not have gone that far with him. He'd of taken action sooner.

I was sitting in a tree along a railroad r/w in Maine, had rubbed fresh cut apples on me...sat there for awhile then heard the shh shh through the leafs...started thinking...this big racoon comes along just like that bear...raising his nose sniffing...gets to the base of the tree, starts climbing,sniffing...he got pretty close until I yelled at him...hm hm hm....man I don't know how that guy did that, he's a true outdoorsman in my opinion letting the bear go..
