Was sitting watching The Profit on CNBC (great show, btw).. began to fast forward the ads, then noticed something. Rewound and caught it..
As an outsider still learning the industry, I scratched my head on his equipment.. isn't it a bit outdated? Or am I way off? : )

Looks like a builder's level. Not really outdated, but you probably won't see many surveyors using one like it.
