For all the guys wondering about going solo...
Sometimes I wish I had a wookie in the field to help.

"Sometimes I wish I had a wookie in the field to help. "
I was thinking of purchasing a chimpanzee and train him to be a rodman to stake houses out. I thought that was a good idea.
My legal council, nice office in a strip mall, disagreed. “In a suburban development full of moving construction traffic if someone were to see a chimpanzee with an orange vest and a range pole running around an active site it would cause crashes and you would be sued.”
Lawyers always spoil all brilliant ideas.
SWMBO wasn’t keen on the idea either. She suggested that the next time I have a physical exam to explain this idea to the doctor in detail and stop visiting the Nun so much.:'(
Have a great week!
Since I'm a solo operator, my wife says that the chimpanzee is already in the field. The Accounting Department thinks she's so smart......

excellent!
i don't need a wookie though, i just wish i had an extra arm. maybe centered up on the middle of my back. i would be much more productive.
[sarcasm]you ever price out 3-arm shirts? otherwise you'd be scratching your butt all day![/sarcasm]
NO!! No!! No!! Chimps, etc. can be used ONLY as CAD techs!! We don't do field work!! Our union, SSTA (Simian Survey Technicians of America) forbids such practices.
the more i think about it i think i would rather it be centered up on my chest. too hard to get comfortable in a chair or bed outta my back.
Actually did work with Spider Monkeys in the 1990s ...
Spent several years shooting monkeys and sailors out of ejection seats at the U.S. Naval BioDynamics Laboratories in New Orleans.
Whenever around the animals, ALL humans had to wear face masks to avoid infecting the animals. (We were considered the infectious hazzards and not the monkeys.)
One of my favorite lines from the Addams Family on TV: Gomez picks up the sweater that Morticia is knitting and we see three arms. He says, "That's odd! I didn't know cousing Itt wore turtlenecks."
