Long time ago I took a PC job with a prominent engineering firm after their entire survey staff had quit, needed the work. I??m sent out with a total station that had clearly been dropped and couldn??t wrap a tight angle, and the son of one of the engineers. He was hands down the most obnoxious full of himself person I??d ever worked with. I??m having trouble getting any of my elevations to check and couldn??t figure out what was going on. Meanwhile this guy is belittling me constantly. Finally It hit me and I asked to see his pocket tape and he grudgingly hands it over. All day he had been doing all the measure ups in inches. I fling his tape as far as I could. When we got back I told them if you send me out there again with that guy, only one of us is coming back.
