Math puzzle. On the left side the square rests on a square with area 12, and on the right side on three squares of areas 3, 12, 27. The top squareƒ??s top left corner is coincident with the tilted squareƒ??s corner, and the squares of areas 12 and 27 are aligned on the right side.

Agree with Dave Drahn. Find sides of squares on right, find sides of triangle alongside middle-right square are ƒ??3, 2ƒ??3, and ƒ??15. Use similar triangles to find length of side of tilted square.

Looking at the pink triangle the rise/run can be calculated as 0.5.?ÿ

Looking at the slope of the unknown square , the overall run is the sum of the square roots of the blue, pink, and green squares and the rise will be half that amount and using Pythagoras the length of the slope will be ƒ??135, making the area 135.?ÿ ?ÿ

I will agree with you if you swap rise and run. Unless you are laying down when looking at the diagram ?????ÿ
