I have invented a new type of rain gauge that will work well in nearly all of the central and western parts of the United States. Available with most of your favorite beverage markings.

Bud Ice??? Nice...brings back fond memories.

FYI, today in NE PA its raining hard for the first time in a few weeks (though not the severe drought you guys are experiencing).

How well does it work?
I'm suspicious about my own rain gauge after our major storm the other evening where the lightening hit my neighbor's tree and blew out a bunch of stuff and proceeded to blow apart the insulators on our pole. I have some of the parts & pieces laying out on my table for curiosity.

My rain gauge showed completely full and it tops out a little over 5.5". I can't believe it was really that much.
