My wife and I spent a full week in NOLA and had a great time. While she was in class I just wandered and explored. I took a "hop on, hop off" tour bus just to get a feel for locations, distances, etc. I must have walked 20 miles around the French Quarter during the week and still could have spent more time. As others posted the food was marvelous. If you do visit be sure and go on a six week diet ahead of time because you will gain weight while there. Of course the best meal we had was with Lamon Miller and his beautiful wife. They invited us in for the evening and the food and companionship was marvelous.

Ralph Perez was in NOLA all last week as well, you two probably crossed paths. I was there Friday.
I wish I had known that Ralph was going to be there. I'd have bought him a cold drink.
I enjoyed the visit with you and your bride. Did you get over to Mr. B's. I had VIP service lined up for Sunday brunch but didn't hear back from you. How do you like stooping?
With four of us we could have had a convention and got credit hours

Yes we went to Mr. B's and it was great. We were out Saturday evening and I didn't see your text until Sunday morning or I would have replied. My wife is a Bread Pudding devotee and she said Mr. B has the best she has ever eaten. I now have the recipe and will see if I can duplicate it. Thank you again for the hospitality.
