Actually, you'd be surprised, but you're correct.
It appears to me to be a CH53E Super Stallion. Although the Sikorsky S-80 (I think) platform it was developed from was from the early '60s, the canted tail rotor didn't come along until the later part of the Vietnam era, probably '68 or '69.
Those things could probably lift a battleship. But only for a few minutes...their fuel carrying capabilities and hungry powerplants limit their range.
I particularly like the underwater photo. Although it appears to be ten or fifteen feet into the silt, all the saucer details are still very visible...hmmmmmm
Good try though. I'd give it a four out of ten.
