OU got hosed on the bowls. Nice money but it sucks they play a 8-4 team that was not even ranked until yesterday.
I'm sure they will be heavy favorites but this will not help into next years polls, even if they blow out Conn. I guess they had to put these two together but it still is not the game that most Sooners would have wanted.
It looks like for the entire Big 12 that Texas A&M came out with the best match up since they get LSU. That will be a big game and highly watched.
I'm getting tickets for our Alamo bowl though featuring Okie State versus Arizona.
I hoped that we would we play Stanford instead of Connecticut. San Antonio sounds like fun.
Stanford would have been a great game for the Sooners and lot more closely watched outside our conference. Stanford was great this year.
Conn will likely be a good game but it just does not have the allure of playing a marque team.

Deral can Nebraska trade Washington for Conn? Nothing in particular against Washington, but some variety is nice.
