The snow in Cortland, NY that is. I spent the week up there surveying a gas pipeline.

From what I see in the background you are in a drift or going through a snow plow discharge area.

Send some of that pipeline work my way;-) I'm only three or four rivers east.

Cold and bitter this week, but will improve for the last weekend of regular big game season.

When you say "up" in Cortland, where did you come from? And are you solo, looks like you may have a robot on your back...if you aren't solo, tell the PC not to set the traverse points under the drifts. Looks like the top of a lath in front of you, maybe to locate the monitor well off to your right. Also I am only about 50 miles away and can bring my snowshoes, and give you a hand!! After this weekend you wont see the top of the well!!!
