Not sure which forum to put this, so I chose the most generic.
Looking at a deed from 2017 with the following statement:
"The singular shall include the plural, the plural the singular and the use of any gender shall be applicable to all genders"
Is this some sort of new legalese, PC language. It's the first time I've noticed it.

I never noticed it either. I thought in the 50??s everyone was aware and confident with their gender.?ÿ
Probably didn't before because in Mr. Flemings example it's appears to have been in a paragraph that's part of standard language that I generally gloss over. The deed I have it's a paragraph alone between the Subject to... paragraph and the date and signature lines.
