Why is it so difficult for people to communicate? I just read a response to a post somewhere that read "I've noticed that either." WHAT in the world?!
I've gone back and read a few of my own. It is apparent auto correct thinks I meant something other than what I typed. Some of them are pretty funny. ..

Good argument for a 4 yr degree requirement for licensure.
I've seen more letters and allegedly official documents written by people with absolutely no clue about grammar, than I'd like to see. Stuff like what and what not to capitalize, where a comma goes and does not go, hyphenated words, run on paragraphs that change topics 6 times, etc. Then you get the smart ones who try and use big words, but not quite in the right context.
It's not just surveyors either. It is common everywhere and is only getting worse, so you may as well get used to it so as to keep your blood pressure in check as we advance in age and grace. 😉
Whoah! Are you implying that we display professionalism? (I'm being facetious...I get many responses like this because of my 4 year degree)
Personally, I have given people crap about poor language here as well. But, honestly, I do it too; especially on posts. It's not like we're writing property descriptions or formal papers on this site. When I make the greatest mistakes is often when I start to type something and then change it and neglect changing something that makes the new sentence sound terrible - similar to your bad example.
I think we need to be a bit more forgiving on a site like this but much more stringent on a resume submittal.
Cool site someone posted here some years back: Common Errors in English Usage
