 :gift: :cake:  HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!!! :gift: :cake:
I am sorry this is late but I just found out a few hours ago. 🙂
If anyone has a birthday coming up (or if anyone wants to be a snitch) and they want a Beerleg greeting, drop me a line.

Thanks very much, Angel. Dinner was sedate, but the wine was great, a bottle that Kermit Lynch imports from the South of France. The cake was Tres Leches, a cake made with three different milks, as the name suggests.

You are very welcome. The cake sounds scrumptious! :cake: :drink:

Yes, it was. Tres Leches cake is one of those classics that sets the standard by which all others are judged.

The cake sounds interesting. What are the three milks? My guess is cow, goat and sheep?

Yes, I ignore the Robert Parker ratings. He's running a beauty pageant where the competitors are paying him. Lynch on the other hand only imports wines that are quite good or better and writes descriptions of them that do them justice.

My brother was just at the Salt Lick last week while touring around TX for a week or so.
