Total travel chaos over there...Amsterdam's Schipol Airport was practically the only major hub functioning. A few photos from the last day hunkering down in town...
...I think in the future I'll stick with boats to cross the ocean, spent 10 hours standing in the back next to the galley in an overcrowded tube..the free Heinekens kept me somewhat sane...

Was that weed on the roll around rack adjacent the “starter” packages?
On the “second” set where there is a Souvenir shop can one bring a bunch of bags of “souvenirs” back to the US? Without customs interference, of course 😉 😉

not on the roll around..only purchasable in coffeeshops... and if your selling weed... you can't sell beer..and if you smoke tobacco you can't smoke it inside the bar or the coffeeshop, it's illegal...but if you smoke weed your excempt from tobacco laws and can smoke it in bar or coffeeshop... and if your a beeraholic like myself..you only order small glasses otherwise the strength of big glasses will make your evening much shorter...
Bringing in pot products like seeds through US customs is dangerous
but for myself...I always bring plant exotics back to US from Holland, particarly bulbs, and if they don't have US dept agriculture certs they will be confiscated...so I tend to be shady about my bulbs..Hippeastrum Papillio was my contraband on this gig..

Thanks Deral...yes...I am absolutely sure a German Shepard drug sniffing dog would find me quite boring
I 've connected through Amsterdam at least a dozen times in the last 10 years, and never made it out of the Airport. One of these days, I'm going to lay over for a weekend, I just have to decide whether to do it on the coming or going end of the trip.

Those are gorgeous flowers! (Hippeastrum Papillio). I however, prefer, “Northern Lights”, or “White Widow”. 😉
And at least a gallon or so of beer to cleanse the system afterwards.:-)
