No! It doesn't simply mean you are full of (you know what). Check out the definition.

I find it hard to believe that somehow I was psychologically abused during that time period from just letting go like an animal to the time when every excretory process was neatly deposited like a "big boy" would do. Nevertheless, errors are terrible things, especially if they are my own.

An excellent example of an error was found earlier this week in a political cartoon in a local newspaper. Sometimes when an error is found it is actually an intended error that will lead to correction in others in some bassackwards way. Or, at least, that is what the creator of the error may claim after the fact.

The cartoon depicted a woman sitting in a witness chair. A group of politicians aligned with generally different political views from those of the witness were speaking to her. One of the politicians was holding a sign reading "Loretta Lynn's Greatest Hits. The obvious intent of the cartoon was to suggest the politicians didn't know the witness from country singer Loretta Lynn. The related error was that one of the politicians was making reference to the song, "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden". The inference being that song was one of Loretta Lynn's greatest hits. Actually, the singer identified with that song is Lynn Anderson. Oops! Thus a cartoon focused on cluelessness was, in itself, an example of cluelessness.

Freud was incredibly groundbreaking and visionary in the field of psychology. That said, there's hardly a single thing you can find anymore that he wasn't dead wrong about. The anal retentive thing has been totally discredited for quite a while.

I'm not up enough on psych to know what if anything they consider it anymore.

That describes a trait that is strong in most of us who peruse this board, AKA Surveyors.
B-)
