Fell asleep this evening watching "crime shows" on some obscure channel. Had a horrible dream that I had discovered a child's body in a storm drain while getting depths on the inlets near an apartment complex. In my dream I was careful not to touch anything as it was evident the child was deceased. A maintenance man at the apartments was with me and we called 911.
After all the authorities arrived a detective came to take my statement. I realized the maintenance worker had told the police a lot of incorrect info and I was now a suspect. I was terrorized. I finally woke up in a cold sweat and it took a few minutes for me to collect reality.
Now I can't get back to sleep. I've made a mental note not to fall asleep in front of that damned TV anymore... 😉
