Apparently someone missed a hard turn in the road and went airborne.?ÿ A car traveling on the road below just happened to have a dash cam rolling.?ÿ The video is spectacular and the driver is said to have survived.

I think I'm going to be flamed hardcore (I'm always wearing my asbestos kevlar bring it) but the reaction is kind of ridiculous, screeching and panicking..
Does anyone else ever attend and complete any type of disaster or mass anything event training or am I unique in that singular topic of my life....if they survived, that would amazing and a good thing.unless they were a POS criminal and then we'll let those chips fall...

Update:
?ÿ
The California Highway Patrol said intoxication was not a factor, telling CBS Sacramento that they were not able to provide more information on the initial hit-and-run or any potential charges for that.
The woman behind the wheel was taken to a nearby hospital, and thankfully survived - walking out with only minor injuries.
So fleeing....
C'est la vie.
They should never waste money on the lotto now?ÿ

????
Just goes to show you don??t have to spend billions going to the edge of space to experience a few moments of weightlessness.?ÿ
I've watched the crash portion of the video probably 20 times.?ÿ That van flew right beside the power pole and between the conductors up high and what is probably cable TV or phone on the lower level.?ÿ Nothing but net, I don't think any of it even got enough wind off the flying van to cause them to wiggle as it went by.
I'm not surprised at the panicking or the delayed reaction to get over there to help.?ÿ I'd like to think that the bystanders were just making sure it was safe to approach the car.?ÿ In the handful of critical situations I've been in, I've come away shocked that others around me simply froze in panic.?ÿ If I had to guess, clarity of mind in a high stress situation is more nature and less nurture.
Before disaster training, I'd recommend basic first aid and CPR be taught in grades 7, 9, and 12.
It's?ÿEvel?ÿKnievel.
"Robert Craig Knievel professionally known as?ÿEvel Knievel, was an American stunt performer and entertainer."
?ÿ
He did that to himself.?ÿ
