When the calculator won't even turn on, even with new batteries, what's this board's recommendation?

If it has any cards in it, pull them and try a hard reset.

@thebionicman :?ÿ And the board comes through again!?ÿ Thank you.
Part of the problem is that there needs to be pressure on the bar across the bottom of the screen to evidently make contact more secure.?ÿ (Another trick I learned on this board.)

Thank you for this!! Mine was given to me when I became a crew chief in 2001.?ÿ Probably been in the drawer for 15 years.?ÿ Couldn't get it to fire up a couple years ago so it went back in the drawer.?ÿ It's now alive!
