I was recently told that ChapStick works wonders.

Corn Huskers Lotion.

But the teat balm (bag balm, utter balm, what ever you want to call it) works pretty good too.

Chapstick works in a pinch, but it's nowhere near as effective as Bag Balm. It has a higher melting temperature, and doesn't seem to get absorbed as well as the latter.

superglue

I've been using superglue for years on cracked fingertips (and toes) and my wife tattled to the dermatologist on me. She was surprised when the dermatologist said it was okay to do so. She now uses it too.

Just put some on my big toe after X-C skiing all day with wet feet yesterday.

to my knowledge they are both the same (ethyl cyanacrolate) sp?.

Also, I've tried the NU-skin but it's slow and it stinks too bad. I used band-aids or duct tape for years till I discovered the super-glue trick.

superglue

Our bass player uses superglue on his plucking fingers to avoid blisters and advised my wife, the drummer to try some on her fingers because she was getting blisters from the sticks.
