@holy-cow

My spouse works admin at a major hospital. The federal government issues a payment for every death that occurs there. The payment is the same regardless of the cause of death.

@flga-2-2

This is what seriously freaks me out. Down this way there's been a lot of folk who've been proven to have caught it while on a plane.

Trying to survive the pandemic by avoiding human transmission seems to me similar to a Terminator movie.?ÿ The virus being like some indestructible cyborg that will stop at nothing to complete its mission by getting inside you.?ÿ You can run, but you probably can't hide...forever.

But it's a genetic role of the dice.?ÿ Once infected you might just get the sniffles.?ÿ Or your lungs could fill and within 48 hrs. get you a ticket to the big fridge parked outside the hospital.?ÿ

I'm not much on rolling dice.?ÿ And apparently the only way to save oneself is anti-bodies.?ÿ You either need an immune system that is up to the task, or you need the vaccine.?ÿ So unless you're "feeling lucky" or have a friend that can get you into some virus-free vault buried in Norway for the foreseeable future; the vaccine is the only insurance policy on the planet.

And BTW, virus have no brains, only instructions programmed into their genetic material.?ÿ And they can apparently propagate their species quicker than the family down the street that runs the convenience store.?ÿ They have ONE JOB:?ÿ To get inside you, multiply and then move on.?ÿ Damage or death of the host is merely collateral damage.?ÿ There are trillions and trillions of them working today on their job.?ÿ Tomorrow there will be more.

Take the vaccine at your earliest opportunity.?ÿ ?ÿ

Although it hasn't been conclusively proven, vitamin D deficiency is thought by many researchers to be one of the major preexisting conditions that leads to bad outcomes. Other vitamin deficiencies also degrade the immune system. You don't need mega doses, but get your sunshine & RDAs.
