Quite simple Andy. You twice referred to those who did not agree with you as being "pro criminal". I don't recall reading any comments that supported armed takeover, threatening law enforcement officers or other federal employees, or the cockamamie interpretations that the Bundy group were justifying their actions by.
No one here condoned criminal behavior. There was no "pro criminal" side of the discussion. Characterizing those you disagree with as "pro-criminal" brought the discussion to a lower level. It was not necessary.
Mike Berry is bringing strong opinions that seem to generally side with yours as to the subject situation, but he is not personally attacking those on the other side of the discussion with slander, and he is providing credible support for his statements. He is adding to the discussion in an informative way. You should try to follow his lead.
You often add to survey discussions in a positive way, and I appreciate that. But in my opinion, the posts I quoted earlier demonstrate that you don't seem to be emotionally equipped to handle any level of disagreement on this type of issue without resorting to hyperbolic attacks on the character of others rather than civilly responding to the substance of their statements.
Sorry if it offends you, but it is my opinion and I've explained it. Accept it or reject it as you will, but your rejection does not make my observations false.
Could be that there may be a couple of more posts with credible info to add, but it's about run its course for me.
As an aside, one of the 14 OR Hotshots that were killed in 1994 was a surveying student at OIT at the time. Good guy. Gone way too young.
Well, I think the post claiming that these criminals were simply on their way to exercise their first amendment rights and were detained might have had something to do with the tenor of my comments. I think these men are lucky that the authorities slow played the situation.
Earlier somewhere above, I was chastised for calling these men "domestic terrorists", a phrase which I think clearly applies to them.
Have you watched the latest videos of the remaining guys at the refuge? On camera they call for reinforcements and for them to KILL any law enforcement officer that tries to stop them.
It's still my impression that some of the posters here clearly supported their actions. You can read their comments any way you like.

Wow, who was that Evan? That was my first year at OIT.
Elder Bundy Says Stay Interesting that the arrested Bundy has told the rest of the occupiers to leave and that "armed standoff" was not part of the deal, and yet the elder Bundy tells the occupiers to stay. Not sure what to believe anymore.
