Does this scandal surprise anyone?
I'm not sure why it takes so long for the University to decide these things. I realize that they want all the facts but seems to me they measured the pulse of the alumni and fans before reacting.
I'm not worried about any of these guys that get fired because they already have enough money for retirement He will most likely end up being hired somewhere else in a year or two when most people have forgotten what he did or feel he has "served" his time.
His forgettting to mention he had Monica Lewinski riding with him is probably the last straw. Playing with young women seems to only be safe for those who have nothing to lose. Gary Hart, Bill Clinton, Herman Cain, John Edwards and many, many other well-knowns have succumbed to similar fates.

There is a very strong Baptist mindset in the administration of the university and Fayetteville. As soon as I heard this I knew he would be fired.
When I lived in Fayetteville, the word was that they forced Lou Holtz to leave in the 80s because he was getting involved as a partner in a beer distributorship.:beer:
