This board is tame, almost boring compared to the old POB days. I had to ban myself from arguing with Texans. IF I ONLY had all that WASTED TIME BACK. Regret it totally getting dragged in. DON'T BECOME A GROUNDHOG DAYER!!
I must have missed most of it, seen stuff going on, just working, decided not to waste my time.
We need many more like you Leon who can dish out the straight scoop without getting hung up on weird stuff like egocentric fascination.

What's even worse is a Texan letting himself get dragged into a argument with a Texan. Kinda like visiting one of them dancing girl joints. Seems like a good idea at the time but in the end it turns out to be a waste of time and energy and you proved nothing

Yeah, once your tip money runs out, no more attention from the "dancing girls." Total capitalists those "dancing girls."
I miss this board a few days and learn that Kent, among others, are banned? Then let me say this about Kent:
We could not be farther apart politically. We spent a lot of time arguing on the old POB board. I can list a few old POBer's who REFUSED to speak to me for any reason, because of my political views (a lifelong dilemma). One guy especially, posted his entire vacation on POB in real time which included driving 50 feet from my house, and ignored me, refused to respond to my emails, because of his hate of my political views (and I do understand why many disagree with my opinions).
During the height of the "heated" years at POB, I found myself in Austin for three days, and spontaneously decided to drop a line to Mr. McMillan (on POB of course). He responded immediately, and without hesitation took half his next day off for a short visit. He took me to a nice place in Austin, and we talked for about an hour. Then he insisted on driving me around on the Austin fast tour. This was in the middle of the the busy work week, unannounced, with a guy who he diametrically opposes politically. He was a fine gentleman, and a first class host. He was a genuine friend, whom I had never met but spent hours debating online. I am to this day glad I got to shake his hand!
