Apparently the writer has no idea about the definition of happiness.
Something along the lines of:?ÿ Happiness is hugging a warm puppy.
Many years ago there was a single panel comic in our local paper with the title: Love is.......?ÿ Somehow the creator came up with something new every day.?ÿ Have no idea how he was able to do so.
In retrospect, I am not unhappy, and feel somewhat fortunate, despite the recent happenings. I was able to continue working and the lack of being able to go anywhere has allowed me to throw extra at credit cards.
I am also beginning to look at semi-retirement (3 -5 years, if that long and I will probably still need to work, but maybe not as hard) which includes moving back to the lower 48. The current housing situation in Juneau is a big sellers market, so I could most likely get a lot more than what's left on the Mortgage. We'll just see how that goes. The only downside this year has been that SWMBO has not been able to work, but we were able to hold out with the settlement from the one job, income tax refund and Alaska PFD's + we finally got the Covid Stimulus a couple months ago, so that's helped with the bills that she pays.
