Never Forget

As much as anything, I remember the lines of vehicles attempting to purchase every gallon of fuel possible.?ÿ I also remember the eruption of anger when the convenience store we had entered to purchase one last drink and some snacks for the drive home from the job site had to shut down their pumps.?ÿ They had contracts with the City and the School District to provide a minimum of some number of gallons of gas and diesel every day.?ÿ We hurried up and got out of the lot as the word spread down the line for nearly a half mile.
