If Dad gives some big speech about how he isn't good enough for her I may have to inform Dad that he wouldn't have been in the top 50 choices if I had been able to select my daughter's husband. Things could get interesting after that.

I would advise to keep your pie hole stuffed with turkey and all the fixings and of course pie too. Christmas is in the horizon, you don't want to start a food fight...yet.

I am thankful for my family, friends, job. I am far more blessed than I deserve. I am thankful that we live in a country that we can disagree, and still be friends.

I am thankful for this forum, and all of my friends I have met thru it.

It has been a busy year for me thankfully. A lot of changes have taken place, both professionally and personally.

I've witnessed similar events in years past.

The funniest happened a few years ago. It was at my ex-wife's house (like tomorrow will be) and it was about 15 minutes prior to everything being ready. Her current husband wanders through the kitchen and says, "Where's the turkey?". Oops! It was still in their freezer.
