Hi I am a recently registered land surveying in Wyoming, glad to be part of the community.?ÿ?ÿ
Welcome from North Carolina.
I have been following a rancher South of Gillette on youtube for a while.

Wow! A newly registered.
I can hardly imagine "getting on the bus" at this mile marker in history.
When I consider every coordinate I've ever made, every angle I've turned, and every dimple of the bob I've made, it's gonna be you, the next generation, that has to retrace me, and every other surveyor, before you.
The technology you've got, at the starting gate, the OPUS, DPOS, the SPC, the fact that a good truck can go half a million miles now, without major repairs, but your GPS will get major overhauls about every 3-8 years. (Your truck will outlast your GPS), and your work today cannot be without a modern computer, and a big monitor.
You have to know, and be familiar with all I know, but you will go beyond....?ÿ
It's an incredible time to "get on the bus".
Stay current with technology, and you can never charge "too much".
Enjoy!

Welcome, friend.
