@nate-the-surveyor Hello Nate, Yes, I can speak/write English.?ÿ
It is a good thing that I can improve my English here.?ÿ
Sorry for the late reply.
Best regards!

Thank you for joining us! 🙂
@dougie?ÿ Thank you, friend. Yes, being open-minded is good.
@williwaw Thank you. We do north-finding, staking out, etc.
@dmyhill?ÿ Thank you, sir. It is a good thing that we have a common language to communicate, or the efficiency of communication would be low. I agree with you that it is futile to learn lots of foreign languages unless required by the job. To be an expert in one or two things would be good enough. Energy and time is limited for everyone.?ÿ
?ÿ Best regards!
@bill93 I am impressed by the creative minds of the American people. I think that is a great success. Speaking one language has a great advantage, that is communication is made much easier.
Welcome! I traveled a good bit throughout eastern Asia, in at least 5 different language countries including China and Vietnam, as well as Europe. The fact that nearly everywhere I went, I could communicate in English with at least one of the locals I encountered made all my travels so much more of a cultural and eventful experience - conversely, my years-long attempts at understanding French did absolutely no good for me in trying to speak either in France or Vietnam.?ÿ
I fondly recall watching survey crews working in Mexico, Malaysia, Vietnam and China - and longed to butt in and have a word with my global brothers -?ÿ
?ÿ ?ÿ Perhaps this would be a good place to learn English. ?????ÿ
Everyone here is friendly and would gladly help you learn. And don??t worry about mistakes because we all make them! ?????ÿ
