What’s the worst monument you’ve had to search for that should have been simple to locate?

Like most places in the US, there is a lot of construction going on around here. I recently passed a couple of surveyors searching for a monument at an intersection where a new highway is being built. This made me wonder: What’s the worst monument you’ve had to search for that should have been simple to locate?
