Hello from Australia, Moving to the UK

Hello,

I'm an experienced engineering surveyor from australia and was just wondering what the rates of pay and hours are for surveyors in the UK (i'm not a licensed land surveyor). I know in the winter it would be considerably less day time hours than ours down here in Aus. I am looking to do similar work over there, e.g. Civil works, road construction, Hi Rise, railways etc...

for comparison in Melbourne working on High Rise building set outs I was earning AUD $45 (25 GBP) per hour plus overtime after 8 hours in 2019. Currently working in a civil role that is paying AUD $700 (380 GBP) per day. 

any info would be greatly appreciated.
