Hi all
My name is Attie, I am checking in from Johannesburg, South Africa. Thanks for the great forum!
My background: Started out on the academic side, 6 years of Space Geodesy research. Then moved to the private sector, have been doing aerial surveying in approximately 25 sub-Sahara African countries over the past 8 years. I love the travelling associated with our industry, my job has given me the opportunity to see a large part of Africa, as well 4 islands around the continent and parts of Antarctica.
I look forward to learning from this forum!
Welcome, this is a great place to share everything!
Welcome aboard Attie!!
Sounds like you have some great experiences to share with us.

Welcome, Attie. We always hope to learn from everyone else. Don't be shy. The more that is shared the better this place becomes.
Thanks for having me back after all this time. Many time a lurker & searcher hardly ever a poster.
Licensed office surveyor. Began as a rodman/chainman & worked my way up to party chief in the service (the Forest Service) over 30 years ago.
Started with AutoCadd back in the days of dos with a digitizer template.
Now I spend my days reading old docs and pushing a mouse around the computer screen.
