I see a bunch of stuff in Activity Feed, but if i look at various discussion forums i see other new posts. What is the criteria for appearing in Activity Feed?
BTW, i really don't care to be notified who updated their photo or connected to someone else.

Right now, the Activity Feed shows all activity from everyone. I will be changing that soon to only show activity from those you are following or connected to, plus anything that would be considered public and generally informative.
