When you have added categories does a person have to go into their profile and manually hit the checkbox to activate them? I did not have several checked and I don't remember if they were added after the start, or, it is quite possible I deemed them unnecessary to my viewing needs at the start.

There is no accusation here, I'm just curious if I brainfarted somewhere.

Thanks again for all you do and have done!!

Carl

I would assume that you'd have to double-check your settings when a new category is added. New categories may automatically be checked in your profile, but I'm not sure, to be honest. Maybe you can be my guinea pig. 😉

In that respect then, I think they have to be manually checked later. It's not really a big deal, it was just flummoxed for moment when I posted to the "Legal blah-blah" category, and I did not see my post appear. I then notice that I had 3 unchecked boxes (happily, P&R was still unchecked).

I have no categories checked at all and see all posts all the time.

That is because you don't have any checked. It is the default position.

When you check any and save, those will be the only categories you see.
