I happened to be on Surveyor Connect and found I was unable to post a reply. I haven't a clue what my password is and find no email from Beer Leg regarding same?

I'm sorry, Paul. I wish I could help but Wendell will have to answer this one. I don't have any admin keys to do stuff like that. He is the only one with the full monty. But right now he is in the bed. Probably where I should be. I'll put a note on his desk to answer you ASAP. 🙂

Paul,
You are on Surveyor Connect now.
I have both sites opened and your post is visible on both
I think the header changes in Surveyors Connect
The are a doppelganger site so to speak.
Just trying to be helpful.
The P/Ws are the same for both sites.

Robert Hill, I Am Not On ''Surveyor Connect" I'm On Beer Leg

It was my understanding that the switch was seamless. My connection to Beer Legs is automatic. If I use the "Forgot Password" it issues me a new password, but does not tell me what it is, so I did not want to jeopardize my Beer Leg hook up.

My intent is to have different settings on the sites, depending on my mood, I go to the the view it all or details only.

Angel, Noodles, whatever, too much information? BTW I see your photo and envision your avatar with tomato or carrot macaroni hair (fusilli lungi or fusilli bucati).

It's the same password as your Beer Leg password. They are both the exact same site with all the exact same information, except for the name and logo. So you simply login to SurveyorConnect.com with your Beer Leg information.

Wendell ?

"It's the same password as your Beer Leg password."

That would be the problem. I originally logged in to Beer Leg via a link, and have no documentaion. That link now fails. I do not wish to have second identity.

Wendell ?

If you logout, then go to the login page, you can request that your password be sent to you via email. Then you can login at beerleg.com, surveyorconnect.com or both. 🙂

Or, since you are already logged in, you can change your password.

Robert Hill ?

In order to change my password I would need to know my old password.

I will try Wendell's first sugesstion. But once I log out I am at the mercy of the computer Gods. Pray that I return.

Paul?

I think it automatically stores your old p/w and you don't need to know it.
anyway that is how it works here on my machine
I would be curious to know if it does not work for you because it works here.
I am basically echoing what Wendell said above

Mr. Hill

Mr. Fenton

Mine does not do that. If I go to edit profile, change password, the old password is there already.
You just have to 'match' the new

Well, I Am Back On Beer Leg

I logged out.

Then logged in on Beer Leg. After entering my user name my computer automatically remembered my password.

Then I tried to log in on Surveyor Connect which refused to accept my automatic password several times. So I figured I would go back to Beer Leg and Log Out again and give it another go. My "Log Out" was temporarily blocked because of too many failed log in attempts. So I am currently locked in to posting only on the Beer Leg side.

For security reasons, logins are treated separately between the two domains. If you click to automatically login for one it does not automatically apply to the other. But you can still login to the other domain and tell it to automatically login also. Then both of them will automatically login when you return.

Well, I Am Back On Beer Leg, Again

Wendell did some human intervention and emailed me a password.

I will next try to use it at Survey Connect.

A bit earlier when doing the password thing the 2 different automatic connects took me to Beer Leg, despite that one was requested at Survey Connect. The computer blew me right out of the water, could not log off or log in.

Here is hoping the third time is the charm.

Even though the email send you to BL to login, you still use that new password for both BL and SC.

''Surveyor Connect'' And "Beer Leg" All Is Well

Turned computer on tonight, Survey Connect was in automatic mode, and 2 clicks put Beer Leg in automatic mode.

Excuse me while I check for what I may have missed in the "Elsewhere Universe"
