These functions require scripts to run or they won't work. If your computer and/or browser are blocking scripts on this website, that is likely the problem. See this thread for more information:?ÿ https://surveyorconnect.com/community/forum-tips-tricks/script-blockers/

In a nutshell, here's what those buttons are supposed to do:

  • Reply: when clicked, this button will merely cause your browser window to scroll down to the reply editor box at the bottom of the post list. A workaround for this issue would be to simply scroll to the bottom yourself.
  • Edit: when clicked, this button will cause your browser window to scroll down to the reply editor box and populate it with the post you are editing. At this time, I have no workaround other than to contact me with the edits you want to make.
  • Quote: when clicked, this button will cause your browser window to scroll down to the reply editor box and populate it with the post you are quoting in a quote box. A workaround for this issue would be to simply copy the text you want to quote, paste it into the reply box, highlight it, then click the " icon in the editor menu.

What editor menu?

If there is supposed to be a line of icons below the title box I'm not seeing them

I'm using the latest version of Chrome on Win10-64bit and for me, both the quote and reply buttons work.?ÿ We'll see about the edit in just a second.

?ÿ

Edit: Yep the edit works also.

Yay me!!

Something is blocking those scripts. I was wanting to think that some of our "tricks" to make the website faster, some of which compress scripts, were the culprit, but it seems to be working for the vast majority of users. I still tend to think something is blocking your scripts.

I did make one more tweak to the performance settings to see if it helps you any, but you will probably have to refresh your browser cache to test it properly.?ÿ http://www.refreshyourcache.com

The Reply Editor should look like this:

I'm sending this from Explorer on my computer at work - so totally different machine, although this one is also Win7

Unfortunately Edit and reply do not work and I don't get the edit menu here either.

Could it be a regional thing? It is a different ISP from that which I use at home.

In the Support & Bug Reports forum, which is right above the Tips & Tricks forum, both of which are in the RPLS Today Support category.

Hmmm, I wonder if that's it. I believe Peter is outside the U.S. as well. Good observation! I'll check some more stuff.

If the Reply, Quote and Edit buttons don't work for you, I would appreciate some more information so we can try to narrow down the issue. This is the #1 priority right now. If you would be so kind as to reply to this post with the information below, I would very much appreciate it.

  • Whether you are using a desktop/laptop or mobile device
  • If on a phone, brand and model name (Samsung Galaxy S8+)
  • If on a phone, the OS version, if known
  • If on computer, operating system and version (e.g. Windows 7 Pro)
  • If you happen to know what build you are on for your OS, that might also prove helpful (e.g. Windows 10 Pro Creator's Update)
  • Web browser you are using and version (you can usually get the version number from the Help/About menu)
  • Anything else you might think is useful that you are running on your computer/phone (ad blockers, browser extensions, etc.)

Please feel free to post separate replies for each device you are using, if you are having trouble on multiple devices.

Sorry this is such a pain in the ass, but we'll get through it!

I also tried from within the US, on Windows 10, but only on Firefox. The computer owner would not permit me to install Chrome.

I do like the "you replied successfully" notification when posting a reply. Kind of like getting a gold star in kindergardern when you keep the upper and lower case letters between the correct lines. 🙂

Sorry can't edit...iPhone forum list stops at stolen equipment, nothing shows below that.

ipad shows more (running an older version of iOS but it may just be the iPad is somewhat more website friendly sometimes).
