I had to log in on my phone just now, and the credentials page includes an anti-robot widget - I had to enter the sum of 8 and 12.?ÿ The problem is that the entry text was masked - I couldn't see the results of my typing.?ÿ This isn't a big deal on a full-size keyboard, but it's an issue on a phone. There's no security justification for hiding the challenge text that I can think of.
Is the masking by design, or was it an anomaly that I just had the bad luck to run into?
You probably need to clear your cache and/or cookies specific to rplstoday.com. There was an issue with that a couple weeks ago, which was fixed, but your phone is likely holding onto a cached login page and/or cookie(s).
At the first of the year, I had to use my phone for all my internet needs from paying invoices for utilities, ebay and printing incoming email.
What I could not do was online research as the command keys were impossible to click on a phone, they appeared to be disabled and no amount of tapping on them would access the deed or other functions.
It was also a hassle to drop in online, download a pdf, drop out of online to interoffice network to print the document, lock back into the internet and continue to next download and repeat, repeat, repeat..............
thank goodness for the Brother app that allowed me to do all this from a phone.
Then I can not count the problems with Verizon about attempting to pay them from my savings account which after 5weeks they finally told me that they do not accept payments from savings accounts, it is how everyone gets paid, but no, not Verizon.............
Nothing is easy, friendly courteous and helpful has left the building, it is all hype........
?ÿ- Raising hand - Same thing here, occasionally. My theory is: you can erase the cache to an extent, but the site does run on cookies and, there are different types of cookies on the interwebs. I believe, but don't actually know enough about this, you can clear your memory and cache too much, erasing too many cookies, becoming a complete unknown quantity to this site.?ÿ
