There was a rumor buzzing around in cyberspace that Beer Leg didn't have a category for construction and mining survey topics. That now bogus rumor has been put to rest.

I checked my profile and it was the only category not checked. When I joined, I turned them all on so everyone may have to check their profile if they care to see that category.

Good point. Any new category will always be unchecked by default.
