I'm sure this has been covered.
When I close my web browser, I lose "My Selection" and "All Categories" comes up. I have P&R turned off but it keeps coming back. Is it a browser setting (Firefox) or do I need to just set my categories every time I log in.
And just to get my licks in...P&R gets turned back on and 5 of the 9 threads (10 now with this one) are P&R.+o(
It probably depends a lot on your browser settings. It should be in a cookie, but if you have certain settings in the browser or other programs running that mess with your cookies, the settings may get lost. That said, your profile selections should remain intact as they are stored in the database -- but the dropdown selection on the homepage is what's reliant on the cookie settings.
Also note that P&R was recently turned back on, so if you haven't visited for a day or so, the dropdown setting probably got reset. Sorry about that.
